About Me

Hi there!👋🏾

I’m Dahlia Woodley, a communications professional based in NYC with experience in clinical research coordination, community engagement, and brand-focused work. I’m skilled in communicating clearly with diverse audiences, guiding people through unfamiliar information, and supporting projects that require organization, accuracy, and collaboration.

In my most recent role as a Clinical Research Coordinator, I coordinated study visits, managed participant communication, and recruited individuals by explaining complex information in a way that felt clear and approachable. That experience strengthened my ability to build trust, manage details, and work across teams — skills I’m now excited to bring into people-centered roles outside of healthcare.

Previously, I supported communication and engagement efforts through work with BLK + GRN, Julie, and Rutgers’ RUSURE Campaign, where I assisted with content development, event planning, outreach, and social media initiatives. Across these roles, I grew confident in translating ideas into messaging, creating supportive experiences for communities, and helping teams stay organized and aligned.

I graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Communication (Public Relations specialization) and a minor in Africana Studies, along with leadership roles and awards from Douglass Residential College.

I’m currently exploring opportunities in marketing, communications, community engagement, HR/people teams, and coordination roles where strong communication, relationship-building, and clear information-sharing are key.
